My husband and I lived and raised our children, three golden retrievers and one bichon
in Highland Park, Illinois for over 30 years. Our dream was always to own a farm with a
a lot of land where we could maintain a doggie day care and dog boarding facility.
In October 2004 our dream came true when we purchased a 72 acre farm in Boscobel,
Wisconsin - Just 70 miles west of Madison. With its rolling hills and natural woodlands
this picturesque location is the ideal spot for retirement. Here the dogs relish the
change of seasons from a winter wonderland (we do get huge snowfalls) to warm, yet
breezy, colorful summers. Our son constructed some great winding trails through our 40
acres of woods where the dogs as well as us can hike and benefit from lots of exercise.
Our dogs have always been our passion - our children often remarked that they got more
attention than them. Now our children are grown and off on their own, so caring for dogs
has become our life's work. The dogs give us hours of pleasure and all they want are
tummy rubs, hugs and kisses and we feel they couldn't have a more perfect environment!
We think you will too!
